But what’s missing is that extra layer of detail. The spice. The build-up. The acknowledgement that something as visually powerful as leather leggings can and should be played with. There was room for it. There was time. It just wasn’t used. And that leaves a huge gap between what could have been and what we got. We also feel like the connection between Serene and Bella was not there.
