This is the last post for this blog event. This post will be about a person that is a hero of trance music for me. May I introduce to you
It was a magical night, the night Makati turned into a dance floor with an international superstar DJ Nifra.
B.Fety presents Nuit Blanche featuring Nifra.

Nifra is an IDMA nominated trance music producer and DJ with releases from notable labels such as Coldharbour Recordings. She has appeared on various radio shows such as Armin Van Buuren’s A State of Trance and collaborated and remixed for notable legends such as Markus Schulz, Cosmic Gate and more.
Nifra has now played countless shows around the world including Armin Van Buuren's massive annual, “A State of Trance” party, Ultra Music Festival in Miami as well as multiple appearances all over Europe, North America, and Asia.
The profession of a DJ is a privileged one, with the endearing reward of connecting with others on a worldwide scale through the love of music. This feeling is shared by many on the circuit, but very few can also proudly be responsible for the conversation that attitudes towards females in the industry are changing and for the better.
Born in Slovakia, Nikoleta Frajkorova’s love for music blossomed at an early age, and by her mid-teens, the appetite for the electronic genre was prioritized above everything else.
Her success in Slovakia garnered attention from Miami native Markus Schulz and in 2014 Nifra joined the ranks of Schulz Music Group – opening doors for her to connect and entertain audiences in North America for the first time. Her performances at Transmission in Bratislava, A state of Trance in Den Bosch, Space in Miami or Club Avalon in Los Angeles projected her as one of the leading female figures representing the dance music scene.
2015 was a monumental change for the Slovakian, her appearance at the famous Ultra Music Festival in Miami and arguably her biggest success to date with her first foray into a vocal-led composition, alongside New York native Seri for “Army of Lights”. Her year concluded working alongside mentor Markus Schulz as part of his City Series Collection project, where they combined for “The Creation”; an anthem fitting for Transmission’s annual home event in Prague, and continuing to receive support from important players such as Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Paul Oakenfold, and Gareth Emery.
And 2016 has seen her star shine further, playing an integral role in Schulz’s Watch the World album tour, demonstrating her versatility as a DJ in both warm-up and headlining modes. Along with original production “Rebel”, her remixes for “Love Me Like You Never Did” from Watch the World, as well as Dimension’s “Mangata” have received rich acclaim, contributing to her appearance at the first New York edition of Dreamstate.
Connecting the world with a talent as infectious as her smile; and inspiring females to follow in her footsteps into the DJ world, Nifra takes it all in her stride.
And she came to Topic Makati in Manila, the Philippines.
This is the Club.
Dear Nifra, I hope you are going to read this because this post is just for you.
It was not planned that I and my friend went to the club. We were sitting in a taxi around 10pm actually on the way home but we met a taxi driver that told us a story about love and his girlfriend who is living in Spain right now so we decided to listen to his story, We asked him while he was talking if he can bring us to Makati. So we talked and still went to the club even though we were actually tired already. We arrived there around midnight and met old friends we have not seen for more than 2 years. This night was also the night I met my "twin sister" from the Philippines. She is like a twinnie for me and we went through a lot already. We met online on Facebook and she is very important for me and this night was also the first night that I met her. And then you, dear Nifra, was there also. It was a night that I will never ever forget.
When you entered the room my heart started to beat so fast like really fast and I actually cannot remember that I was so nervous in meeting someone before. You took your time to check out the place, sat down and some people approach you already to take some photos with you.
You were like a star in that club, a club which is indeed super underground, but you turned the dance floor into your home for 90 minutes. It was awesome.
There were songs in your set like Markus Schulz & Lachi - Far | Fisherman Festival Remix and your very own Dark Harbour track.
When the queen of trance takes over the turntables the result can only be mindblowing and amazing and you did that for all of us trance lovers in the Philippines.
It was an epic night filled with love for trance, love for music, love for the people, and love from you. You made me less self-centered and I have now wonderful memories because of you. But most importantly, and more personal, you made me love dance again. Dance has always been my passion but since I couldn't dance for 3 years since Aly & Fila went here, because I did not listen to trance for a very long, but you brought the energy back into my mind and heart, and also because of you I remember now how beautiful trance and progressive is.
Your fans know that you trained for years to be where you are today. They know how hard you work. You spend hours, days, even months to dance and sing to give us the best. You do all of that without complaining, you keep smiling and tell us to take care of ourselves. You always give everything you have to make us happy.
But even though me and your fans appreciate all the things you do for us we don't only care about your music, even if we don't personally know you, we care about you. Take care of you, your fans won't love you less if you take a break to eat or sleep or even just enjoy some time for yourself.
Thank you for all the happiness and the stupid smiles you put on my face. Thank you for helping a lot of people with your music. Thank you for working so hard for us. I wish you the best, I hope you will keep doing the music that you love and don't worry your fans will not let you go including me.
I know that you probably will never see this and that you most likely don’t know who I am or that I exist, but that doesn’t stop me from being an active fan of your work and of you as a person. Really, if you think about it, it’s a sad little relationship: I know who you are, you don’t know who I am, but through the power of your talents and public appearances on the internet and T.V., it’s as if we are connecting.
Everyone needs inspiration especially in this day and age, and inspiration can come from anything or anyone and can affect a person of any age. I want you to know that you are my inspiration and it is through your work that I find at least some force of determination to reach my dreams. After all, isn’t that what you somehow did? I keep up to speed with new interviews and new projects you are part of and I can’t help but get excited when your name is mentioned. What can I say? You are just that amazing to me.
Now don’t get me wrong; my constant admiration for you does not stem from my inability to love my unique self. Not really. However, role models, no matter how much someone may have, serve as a tool of inspiration and while many (myself included) have personal role models in our personal lives, those who are famous can add just a little something special to the everyday journey of life. That journey needs to have idols of both genders and as a woman, other women who do great things and have incredible talent which is empowering.
That’s what you are to me.
I will always remember that night when I was able to stand next to you. I wish that this moment was a bit longer than only a few seconds. But life is not a concert full of wishes. But these few seconds mean the world to me and it was great to be close to you, speak to you, get a signature from you, and dance together with you.
I know that it might have been a moment that will be a memory for the next few years. We are living so many miles apart from each other. So what can I do until you are coming back to the island?
For now, I’ll continue to admire such projects and achievements you’ve done and continue to be a loving fan of you. Isn’t that what celebrities always thank besides their family and coworkers? Your fans are true and I’m glad to be a fan of you. Keep being awesome.
Thank you for that night and great memories. Be safe always, stay healthy and see you soon.
Yours truly fan, Lovely Jade Heaven.
