Dujuan has dissipated.
This is the last update, but the rainfall threat continues.
Information as of 0300 UTC:
Position: No discernible surface circulation
Movement: WNW at 10 knots (20 km/h)
Intensity: 25 knots (45 km/h)
Central pressure: N/A
PAGASA local name: Auring (#AuringPH)
Hazards affecting land:
TCWS #1 remains active for a large area, but these signals are likely to be dropped soon.
Although Dujuan has dissipated, the heavy rainfall threat over portions of the Central Visayas and the Bicol Region continues. Additional rainfall of 100-200mm is possible in some areas.
Discussion:
JMA and JTWC have both issued their final advisories on Dujuan. PAGASA is likely to discontinue warnings soon as well, so this is a special update to end updates on Dujuan. The system no longer has a discernible surface circulation, and most of the shower activity has moved off to the northwest along with a rapidly decaying mid-level circulation. The wind data from earlier suggests Dujuan has decayed into a trough, and so this is the last update.
Although Dujuan has dissipated, the heavy rainfall threat will continue through Tuesday, although most of the rain has shifted northwest toward portions of Luzon.
