Alright, let’s talk about a scene that is, on one hand, absolutely controversial, but on the other hand also totally brilliantly performed. And I honestly don’t really know what to say about it.

On one side, I like this scene insanely much because of the trash factor, but on the other side, the fact that the scene tries to take itself seriously and presents itself as a real reenacted situation means that it actually doesn’t take itself seriously at all.

And because of that, I’m struggling a bit with myself right now on how to rate this scene. Should I rate it based on the trash factor, or from a completely normal perspective?

🏥 Story And Setup 🏥

So what is it about? It’s about Kenzie lying in the hospital and not feeling well. You can attribute that to a virus infection, or you can also say that mentally she’s just not in the most stable state like she should be.

And the doctor, played by Joanna, is incredibly worried about her and simply cannot stand seeing Kenzie suffer like that.

And then, of course, what has to happen happens. A kind of seduction takes place and the two of them end up having a “nice time” together.

🤯 Trash Factor And Absurd Elements 🤯

What I find absolutely genius in a trash way is that you can literally see certain fluids coming out of Kenzie’s mouth. That’s something you would never expect in a scene like this, because at the end of the day, this is still supposed to be an erotic scene.

But yeah, the fluids come from places where you just don’t expect them. The trash factor is there.

And then the scene suddenly turns into a direction, like I said, I did not expect at all. And they all try to take themselves very seriously when it comes to the actual act.

And that’s exactly why I’m struggling with the rating.

😂 Irony And Absurdity 😂

From a pure trash factor perspective, this is absolutely insane. I mean seriously, I’ve never experienced something like this before.

That because of some kind of situation in a hospital setting you suddenly meet a doctor who is like, hey, I will fulfill your greatest wish, your last wish, I will take care of that for you.

I’ve never really experienced something like that.

But I also have to say, maybe something like that actually exists somewhere. I could totally imagine that.

In any case, it is funny to watch. Just this whole idea, this grotesque, this over the top, this completely out of this world concept that this scene wants to represent, that is just brilliantly performed.

⚖️ Dual Rating Conflict ⚖️

So from the trash factor alone, from my perspective, this is a 5 out of 5. I love it. It’s absurd, it’s erotic in its own way, and it is just extremely entertaining to watch them.

Even though it feels like in this scene there wasn’t that much “thinking” left in the characters, at least that’s how it is performed, they still somehow squeeze out the very last percentage of what you could call rational thinking.

And that’s exactly why I think it is played so over the top.

I hope you can feel the irony and sarcasm that I’m putting into this review.

If I rate it on that basis, it’s 5 out of 5 stars.

But if I look at it from a more “serious” perspective, because of the absurdity and the completely ridiculous elements that are added, where you just think, seriously, who writes a script like this?

Who sits there and thinks, hey, this is a really cool idea? People will sit there for an hour, watch this, and think it’s hot.

Well, I thought it was great. I thought it was hot. So I guess I belong to those people who actually celebrate this trash factor.

But from that perspective, it’s 1 out of 5 stars.

🦖 Final Comparison And Explanation 🦖

So like I said, there are two directions, two hearts beating in my chest. And I’m sitting there thinking, alright, I definitely did not expect something like this from these two.

And I can already imagine that a very good friend of mine, who always revisits and reworks my reviews, will at some point ask me: why is this not 0 stars?

And then I will probably tell her, like I always do: you know that movie from the 90s, where dinosaurs are doing things with each other, played by humans dressed as dinosaurs?

And there’s this 15 minute version on that website with the black and orange logo and the very well known music.

And I will show her that video.

And then she will say: alright, now I understand why this scene with Kenzie and Joanna is not 0 out of 5 stars.
