Hi Loves,
It's Lovely herself 💜💜💜
and today I want to bring up the difference between being asexual and demisexual. The different terms of our LGBTQIA+ community is still an unknown treasure to a lot of people.
As adjectives the difference between asexual and demisexual
is that asexual is not experiencing sexual attraction; lacking interest in or desire for sex while demisexual is (sexuality|of humans) sexually attracted to people only after a strong emotional bond has been formed.
As nouns, the difference between asexual and demisexual is that asexual is (biology) a species which reproduces by asexual rather than sexual reproduction, or a member of such a species while demisexual is a person who is demisexual.
The best way I can explain this is the following photo.
Some people are saying that asexual is very much likely related to being demisexual. I, as a demisexual person, can confidently say, that it is not the same, and I do not identify myself as a person who is asexual. Maybe it is different for others, and I do not want to judge. That is okay because everyone has a different opinion.
Hope this helps you to understand the difference in a better way.
OOO, Lovely 💜💜💜
