07W (Philippine name Emong) is located 383 km southwest of Taipei, Taiwan, and has moved northwestward at 22 km/h (12 knots) over the past 6 hours. Satellite imagery shows that the previous convection associated with 07W has been significantly sheared, revealing a weak, expansive low-level circulation (LLC). Furthermore, the ASCAT shows maximum winds of 35 km/h (20 knots) to the southwest of the system, lending medium confidence to the initial intensity. The remnants of this system are forecast to track north-northwestward into southeast China. This is the final warning on this system by JTWC. The system will be closely monitored for signs of regeneration. Maximum significant wave height is 2.7 meters (9 feet).
