A very warm welcome to a fresh and new story on my website, and today I would like to talk about some changes, that I have been planning on doing for a very long time.
It's actually surprising because 2 years ago today I started my website and from a simple blog it became a brand, something that I built with my own hands. Back then I wanted to be playful and just do what I wanted to do. That has changed in the meantime and today I can proudly say that from a small project of a small playground you can say that something special has emerged for me. Something special that I can be proud of and when I look back over the last two years it fills me with pride and joy to have discussed the topics that I was allowed to discuss everywhere. I met a lot of new people on this trip and I can say with some pride that the majority of these people were definitely a positive experience. What I would like to share with you today is something very special for me and many people have asked me why your name is actually llqLovely on all your social media channels. You probably don't know in the Philippines and this name actually came about three years ago. Back then I had a dream of opening my own shop and selling fashion. Besides, there should be the first bistro next door. But then we all have to know Corona came and everything has changed. I continued to pay my contract partner in the USA for many months without knowing whether I was ever able to open it or not. Meanwhile, I know that I can unfortunately no longer do that, then the current conditions, especially in the Philippines, are very bad and not exactly pleasant to build up a business and start something new, where you depend on the customers. It is not always easy to see when you walk through the streets to see how one after the other one has to close his shop and especially in the mall, which is now my turn, it is extremely noticeable. Then a few months ago I met Demi. Demi is a freelancer and from her I learned how to build a business right from the start, where you can work as a freelancer, so to speak. From her, I have also acquired my knowledge and skills when it comes to funnels. I have never dealt with it before because I always knew a website is a website and maybe people look at it and then they come back and will be happy about new contributions. But the difference between a website and a funnel is that you want to get people to stay on your website. Today 2 years later after starting my website I can say that I succeeded because it can see the traffic and it can also see where my clients come from, also the age group, as well as whether the majority of my clients are male or not are female. So from a little gimmick, from a little website that I just wanted to make for a fun, something emerged that I can now call my own brand. Of course, this is also linked to whether you can still identify with what you had as an idea 3 years ago, and to be honest, I can no longer do that today. Incidentally, I would not wish to be associated with something that was an idea 3 years ago that unfortunately never came about due to the pandemic. I want people to get to know me the way I identify myself and the old day llqlovely just doesn't fit anymore. For health reasons I also learned how important it is to enjoy every single moment and what I am allowed to do every day is a gift and I would like to pack this gift up today and send it to you out there. It is therefore an honor for me to announce that llqlovely is history and that amomentoflovely has been officially launched. This name was not chosen unconsciously, it is the symbol of what I live for every day. He makes me feel that I can be myself and he makes me feel that I can identify with it 100%.
I hope you will continue to be a companion on this journey and accompany me on my way to where I want to go. Again, everyone knows I'm making art. An art that is my passion and that has changed my life. I would like to use this passion to create something achievable for everyone, and so the next step will be that Névé, my business partner, and I can continue working on this project from now on. What exactly we are planning and what you can expect in the future and will, of course, be published on this website. First, that's the news that I wanted to share with you today. I'm sincerely anticipating the future, and I'm longingly expecting to work with Névé, she is incredibly talented when it comes to technical background and marketing, when it comes to social media and when it comes to communication, and I'm deeply grateful that I have her, it really helps me a lot. So, today is not a farewell, but a new beginning and I would say let's just celebrate it!
