“Somewhere along the way, I interviewed my subjects besides photographing them. And alongside their portraits, I'd include quotes and short stories from their lives.”
Over the past five years, it has also expanded to feature stories from over 500 movies I reviewed. Now it is time to make A Moment of Lovely, which began as a Facebook series special and give it a new home.
I'm all about genuine spirituality, like understanding conscious information. If you talk to me about quantum mechanics, if you want to come to meditate with me or go on a hike, if you're going to eat healthily and do yoga, that's my thing.
I am Kam, a demipansexual l-oriented non-binary leather loving inspiration and unicorn. I am living in the Philippines, and I love to express myself through photos and words. A Moment of Lovely is a blog about my thoughts, trips, and adventures in life. It will also have some unique features about love, trance, LGBT, and life. As a person who loves to let herself go, I would like to invite you to join me on that journey.
I love everybody equally. I don't see gender lines. Not only that, but I don't see color. I see nothing other than human beings, as we're all just facets of the big whole of humanity.
I'm all about equal expression. Furthermore, I believe in identical energy exchanges. I've never really tried to get guys to take me out and spend money on me. That's not my style.
I love unique experiences. There's not a particular pattern, rhyme, or reason to me. I like it when someone owns who they are and are that. I'm a switch. I'm dominant or submissive, depending on how you are. The same with turning on. I get turned on when you're turned on. I'm a reflection of your energy. If you're doing something that turns you on, I'm getting turned on as well. Specific things that I like, I like to be touched.
Upon finishing high school, I, with brown eyes, traveled across the world, including South Africa, where I stayed for more than half a year to find myself. I love nature, so I lived in the woods for some time – just appreciating nature, getting spiritual, and finding myself.
I like electronic dance music, trance, techno, classic rock, pop, and alternative. Likewise, I also love alternative fashion. I have my podcast show called Lovely's DJ Sessions.
My favorite movies are Fight Club, Requiem For A Dream, Memento, Mad Max, and Horror movies, and I think the Simpsons is probably my religion.
I like unique experiences, people who accept themselves for what they are, yoga, meditation, hiking, and love to go crazy and let themselves go.
I came to earth to inspire and challenge people, but I am lovable, and you can hug and take me for who I am.
Do not bring drama from other platforms to my socials or else you will be blocked. I will no longer tolerate mobbing, harassment, and bullying during my activities where I am trying to do my best with all my love and passion, especially to support the people I love and support. Take it as a serious and final word.
But now I would like to answer some questions asked by my followers:
1. How are you doing today?
I am doing good, thanks for asking. It was a stressful week, but now, after seeing friends, relaxing, sharing love, and eating good food I am doing better. Thank you.
2. When and how did you start to live leather/PVC style?
I was 14 years old when I found out that I was different from others. Something was happening in the school that opened my eyes that I am in love with leather. I developed that thing since that day. So, there was this classmate. Her name was Maria, and she decided for just one day to dress up in a whole leather outfit including Miss Sixty Harriett's leather pants, a leather jacket, and a leather top. From that moment on, I was aware that I am in love with leather. And this is what that wonderful leather pants looked like.
I wish I had a chance to get them again because when I was a kid, these pants have been my absolute favorite. I bought them when I was 20 years old, and I had 3 of them, one in brown which was super rare, and two in black, so I can switch and not over-wear them. In fact, when I was studying at University, I had 24 leather pants in all possible different colors. There was in one day I was at the university when I decided to start collecting them. My actual dream was during that time that I will open my very own leather clothes shop, and maybe I still can do so when I am here in the Philippines. That would be a dream come true, actually. Nowadays, I have 18 vinyl leggings and pants, and 4 leather leggings. I switched to vinyl because I like it more, and it feels more comfortable.
