Hi Loves,
this is Lovely,
herself,
and today I would like to introduce a new project to you and I would like to turn it into a lifetime project, at least as long as I am here in the Philippines.
I have a private Facebook page where I am literally covering all of the devastating and heavy typhoons last year. I am interested in doing these things since I was a little kid and I also have had a personal experience with a tornado so I got interested in that as a hobby. I am far away from being an expert on meteorology but I do want to share news about what is going in this world to make people aware of storms and heavy weather conditions because here in this country it is a daily topic and we do talk about it and the recent storms affected a lot my friends and people I know.
So, what I want to do is a weekly outlook, and if there is any storm coming up in the Philippines I want to share the most recent news about it.
To be able to do so I have joined F13 Philippines who are sharing coverage news about this for a couple of years already and they are doing a fantastic job.
But for today, let's just start with the outlook and the good news that we do not expect any major storms to come up for the next 7 days.
This is actually good news because January is actually still one of these months when we can see several storms coming in.
The following graphic shows that there were a couple of major typhoons recorded since the 70s.
But we do not expect this to happen for the last week of January 2021. Let me just add that the sea surface temperature is above average for January, which is around 1-3 degrees higher than it should be.
Let us keep the fingers crossed and be positive.
Thanks for reading and as always stay safe out there, Lovely.
